In brief

PT2026 development status
In the last newsletter, we reported that we had solved the problem that had been haunting the all-digital RF signal generator built into the PT2026. To do so, we had to redesign the RF hardware; to avoid more nasty surprises, we have now completed extensive testing of this new hardware. We have also completed a system architecture design that expands the original PT2026 into a family of products: pulsed or continuous-wave, single- or multi-probe, narrow or wide-range probes, normal or high fields – we have high expectations for version 2 of the PT2026. Stay tuned!

THM1176 software and firmware updates now available
We remind you that major new firmware and software upgrades for the THM1176 Three-Axis Hall Magnetometer are available for download from our site. The firmware upgrade – to be installed on your THM1176 – improves accuracy by correcting for sensor non-linearity. It also fixes a number of bugs, including an important one where the measurement sign was reversed. The software upgrade – to be installed on your PC and/or PDA – features support for new probes such as the THM1176-LF, a much more robust User Interface, and a number of small bug fixes.

Updated price list – and no price increases!
Please also note that we have updated our price list. No need to worry; it is not the prices that have changed – in fact, we have not changed any of our prices since 2004! We have added new products, removed outdated products, and tried to improve the organization. We are also in the process of updating our web site to reflect the evolution of our product line – please be patient with us in this transition period!
