In brief

Metrolab celebrates its 25th anniversary
A beautiful weekend in June, and yet another busload of tourists arrives to see the sights of the Bernese Oberland. With one critical difference: this is our bus! Filled with Metrolabians past and present, our closest research partners, our distributors from USA, Japan, India and Italy, and – last but not least – their families, we enjoyed two days of relaxed sightseeing and visiting amongst friends. Metrolab’s first-ever distributor meeting, held on the preceding Friday and also attended by our representatives from Germany and Israel, had been a great success as well. Small consolation for our representatives from China and Spain, who had to cancel at the last minute: 25-year anniversaries come very rarely, but at least the distributor meeting will become a regular event.

PT2026 : first release in Q3 2011
Development of our next-generation NMR Precision Teslameter, PT2026, is back on track. The first release, in Q3 2011, will be a pulsed mode single-probe system, with the ultimate in resolution for medium to very high field applications. Development is progressing as planned, and we eagerly look forward to our first measurements that will exercise the entire processing chain: electronics, signal processing, firmware and software. Keep an eye on this space for updates!

FDI2056 software and manual posted online
Out of the box, the software for the Fast Digital Integrator FDI2056 provides the ability to quickly configure and perform measurements, make standard corrections and measurements (such as drift correction and spectral analysis), and to record and review raw data as well as computed results. The software supports Windows as well as Mac. As usual, to support customized applications, we provide all source code, including a full-featured and well-documented LabVIEW Application Programming Interface. All is available as a free download from our web site.
